Country Music Hall of Fame legend Charlie Louvin is scheduled to host the Midnite Jamboree this evening (9/18). The show is now taped at 10 p.m. (central time) and replayed the next week.

Charlie has recently been diagnosed with stage II pancreatic cancer, and an attempted Whipple procedure in August was unsuccessful. Louvin's site said that they were "exploring alternative treatments." "I don't know what they have planned," Louvin was quoted as saying, "but I'm sure it'll hurt."
